How to configure Champify alerts
When a key contact or former customer joins a prospect account, you likely want the AE and the XDR to have visibility of the arrival. Similarly, when one of these stakeholders joins a customer account, it’s important that AE, AMs, and CSMs are aware of the job change.
Configuring notification recipients
- Set up the account team via Compass
- Navigate to Compass within the Champify Admin page
- Under the “Who is on the account team section?” → select the Salesforce fields from the drop down which reflect the account team (e.g. AE, SDR, CSM, etc)
- Under ”Who is responsible for the opportunity?” within the opportunities tab → Add account team members on the Opportunity side
- Who owns/is working the opportunity
- Who sourced the opportunity
- Select the relevant roles under Notifications
- Navigate to the Notifications tab within the Champify Admin page
- Use the dropdown under “New Hires” to select the account team roles that should receive slack and email alerts (please see below for examples of the notifications). We recommend that the XDR and AE receive alerts for prospect accounts and CSMs and AEs/AMs receive alerts for customer accounts.
Global users
A global user will have a bird’s eye view into Champify. Configuring a user to have global permissions impacts two areas:
- Global users will see all Champifys within their Champify UI
- Global users will receive notifications for all Champifys.
