How to display Champify data in Salesforce

Adding a Champify section to Contact and Lead page layouts makes it easy for Salesforce users to gain additional context on the past customer relationship and job change data.

Add to a Contact or Lead Page Layout

To add ‘Get Intro From’ to a contact or lead page layout:

  1. Navigate to the Salesforce Setup screen
  1. Navigate to Object Manager
  1. Open the Contact or Lead object
  1. Open Page Layouts and select the desired layout (e.g. “Contact Layout”)

  1. Drag a Section and place it in the page layout where you’d like
  1. Name the section “Champify”, and click “OK

  1. Search “champify” in Quick Find to surface all of the Champify Fields you may wish to add.

  1. Add the Champify fields to the Champify section as you’d like.

      You can choose which fields you’d like to add to this section. At a minimum, we recommend the following:

      • Is a Champify
      • Champify No longer at company
      • Champify Job Started Date
      • Champify Previous Relationship
      • Champify Past Account
      • Champify Past Contact
      • Champify Get Intro From

      These fields will provide your team with the context they need to inform how to engage. You can also add additional lookup field to the Past Account and Past Contact objects to passthrough relevant context about their previous relationship.

  1. Save the Page Layout
  1. Repeat for additional Page Layouts

Add Champify Contacts to an Account and Opportunity Page Layout

Requirement: You must be using a Lightening Record Page for your accounts and opportunities

Most reps start from an account view. Follow these steps to add a list of Champify contacts to the account page.

You can add this to an Opportunity Page as well as alternate between contacts and leads by selecting the relevant related risks.

  1. Navigate to the Page Layout editor: Setup > Object Manager > Account > Lightening Record Page

  1. Click the page layout and click edit
  1. Click add a new component and add a Dynamic Related List - Single

  1. Create a Dynamic Related List where:
    1. Parent Record = Use This Account (or if you are on the opportunity page, Account Name)
    2. Related List = Contacts
    3. Related List Label = Champify Contacts

  1. Update the field information to contain
    1. Name
    2. Title
    3. Champify Past Account
    4. Champify Past Title

  1. Add filters to narrow down to just Champify Contacts
    1. Set Is a Champify = True
