How to integrate Champify with Outreach

This is how we will ensure that context from Champify records is visible directly in Outreach, and make it possible for Outreach to automatically queue Champify leads in the proper sequence. This also ensures that contacts who leave their assigned account are automatically removed from active sequences.

We recommend the cadence/sequence/flow has a manual Step 1 so that reps can add personalization to the note including context on the prior relationship to boost response rates.

Mapping Past Account Name: Referencing a person’s past account in an email is a helpful way to establish context on the relationship and personalize emails. The Champify Past Account field is a lookup to an Account record with many fields of it’s own. It’s important to specify in advanced settings for a field mapping in Outreach that you want to display the name instead of the record ID. Toggle this setting on.
 

How to make Champify fields visible in Outreach

  1. Create Custom Fields on the Prospect Object that correspond to the below field names
    1. Is a champify
    2. Past account name
    3. Get intro from
    4. Champify previous relationship
    5. Job started date
    6. Champify linkedin url (optional)
  1. Map the Salesforce contact or lead fields to the corresponding outreach fields you created. Here is the Outreach documentation for setting this up.

Set up automation for Champify records to be queued in the right sequence

  • LeanData also has a pre-built node that makes this easy!

(Optional) Remove any outdated records from Outreach

  • Champify will flag a custom boolean No Longer at Company for both outdated contacts and outdated leads
  • You can use an Outreach trigger to have this flag auto-end sequences and delete prospects if No Longer at Company = True
